I make fancy scripture – a hand-drawn cryptic crosswords zine for everyone!
In the age of AI slop it felt nice to make something that is a product of my silly little human brain and share it with other silly human brains!
I’ve tried to make the zine fun for both experienced cryptic nerds and beginner nerds alike – each zine has a full 13×13 crossword on the inside, and/or you can read it like a booklet for some hints & tips.
Here’s what you get in the booklet:
The full crossword is inside the zine – this will change with each edition. Here you’ll find grid, the clues, a notes section & hints.
I’m hoping to make one a month, but this is just a fun little hobby, so don’t hold me to that! Visit the homepage to see the latest zines.
The zines will always be free to download! Print and share as many as you’d like – I’d love it if you printed some and gave them to local community groups and organisations!
